Recharging issue solved
We had the same problem as some some others here, it wouldn’t recharge, so my husband got out his little electrical engineering tools and proceeded to void the warranty.

Simple, one trick pony.
The Flip UltraHD is the simplest video recorder I’ve ever seen. After charging it up for the first time, the setup menu has 2 settings. Language, and date&time. That’s it.

Crashed my system
This product destroyed Windows Explorer, meaning I had to restore my copy of Vista. Windows explorer crashed every time I rebooted once it installed the device drivers.
